Everyone wonders about the conundrum of a tree falling in the woods…if no one is around, does it make a sound? But I think what they’re missing is…if people are around, does it choose not to fall in order to avoid being heard at all?
Some people don’t move because of an audience, others wait until they have one. The movement we make in life is determined by One, and should only be done with One in mind: The Self. Our acceptance of the Self should not be based on the opinions of others. It should be unconditional much in the same way that we are alive. i am, i am, i am.
To live freely is to remove the chains placed on you by all, including yourself, and just be. Control of actions leads to a false sense of control of life. When you have lost your way, know that each heartbeat makes a statement of your being. Your life unfolds with each beat. When in doubt, bring it back to the source. Listen, and to rediscover your path let go of anything that keeps you from hearing this. I am, I am, I am.

By following this pattern, you may find that the activities and items you choose to bring into your life makes that voice louder. Similar to a growing light, it takes time to adjust to the changes. Adjustment is ever present, it is the sensation of awareness of these adjustments that may feel weird at first. Acknowledge, but don’t assume. Let it ebb and flow, unobstructed. I Am, I Am, I Am…
Nurture it, and it will begin to grow beyond you, reaching out to those who are around. Some may hear it, others may not. Don’t fear if others do hear it as well. It is not your concern what they think. We are each on our own paths. Their opinion of you is a reflection of themselves. Acknowledge their presence and opinion, but keep your truth as your own. I Am, I Am, I Am…
For some there is no fear in the climb, the work that is put into building your life. But the Fall — that’s a different situation altogether. The Fall is when you face the judgmental eye of those who are around and let go of the fear of failure in their eyes. Because that’s all it is — any sense of failure is not on your part. By falling you’ve already succeeded. There’s so much of a focus on the idea of success as recognized by other people…but take one look at many who are deemed “successful” by society and not all are happy or content. Embrace the empty space before you and realize it’s not empty, but full of more than can be grasped in your hands. Let go, lean forward. I AM, I AM, I AM.
You are ready not when there is a lack of fear, but when that fear has been acknowledged and given its rightful place within you. Fear is not the enemy, it is your companion. Don’t let it be alone, hold its hand as you enter the void. Let it be paired with your voice. The voice within that still beats out that tattoo although it feels threatened. I AM. I AM. I AM.
Fearing. i am, i am, i am.
Falling. I am, I am, I am.
Floating. I Am, I Am, I Am.
Flying. I AM, I AM, I AM.
Free.
I AM. I AM. I AM.
I AM. I AM. I AM.
I AM. I AM. I AM.
