What is Kilubansa?
An indigenous Filipino practice originating from the Luntiang Aghama Divine Arts & Shrine in the Philippines, Kilubansa (kee-loo-bahn-sah) is a method for understanding the elemental gifts present in your given name and passed through your ancestral lineage.
Kilubansa is a form of nomenology, the study of identifying the energy within a name, that examines your natural talents, areas of opportunity for growth, ideal relationships, and path to enlightenment. In addition, it also outlines your personal medicine and methods for maintaining balance and harmony — both within and without.
How does Kilubansa work?
Kilubansa uses the babayin (bah-bye-in) script to analyze the phonetic structure within names and identify their corresponding elements: Air, Fire, Water, and Earth.
Babayin is an ancient script that was used by pre-colonial peoples living on islands which are now known as the Philippines archipelago. It is an alpha-syllabic writing script made up of characters that (mostly) represent syllables. For example, the name Alyssa has six letters (a-l-y-s-s-a), but only 3 babayin characters (a) – (li) – (sa).
While it is no longer the primary writing system in the Philippines due to Spanish colonization, there are organizations and communities within the Filipinx diaspora who are focused on reclaiming our cultural heritage and reviving babayin’s use in the present. This includes the reviver of Kilubansa and founder of Luntiang Aghama, Apu Adman Aghama.
A Step Further
My Kilubansa readings and analysis take the original teachings of Apu Adman Aghama and expand upon them with the many downloads and insight I’ve received from Diwatang Malaon, my Divine guide and the creator deity of my pre-colonial ancestors of the Waray-Waray tribe.

Is Kilubansa like Astrology?
While the Kilubansa energy analysis has some similarities to Astrology, it is a different approach to understanding your Self, your purpose, and the connections you have to others.
Is this the same Kilubansa readings as provided by others?
Yes and no. Alyssa trained directly with Kilubansa’s creator, Apu Adman Aghama, but has also expanded the service with downloads received from Diwatang Malaon, the divine creator goddess of her pre-colonial Waray-Waray ancestors.
In addition, her elemental energy readings have a broader scope that expands the base Kilubansa reading analysis to better target goal planning, clarity of purpose, heightened intuitive guidance from your guides and ancestors, and more.
Do I need to be Filipino to receive a reading?
